AMA session with disBalancer

DisBalancer, the second project to enter the Hacken Foundation, is a solution that protects companies against DDoS attacks while enabling users to earn tokens by renting out their free computing power and bandwidth to the network.

Welcome to our group! It’s a great pleasure to see you here.

Hello everyone, I am Mr Ddos and today I am representing disBalancer. Happy to be with you. Thank you for this nice intro!

Our congratulations. Disbalancer IDO resulted in high oversubscriptions on multiple IDO platforms. Before we start, could you please introduce yourself to our audience?

I would like to start by introducing the team members. There are two guys, Alex and Jan. Hacken united them, as they both were working on its projects. They both are excited about cybersecurity and hacking, of course, the ethical one.

Could you please share how you, guys, came up with the concept of disBalancer and what issues you solve?

There are standard load balancers, and our project, on the contrary, is disBalancer. We aim to create a fully decentralized, peer-to-peer, and serverless node network to connect unused bandwidth and storage with businesses looking for DDoS protection and faster content delivery to their websites. I know that many of you have seen site crashes due to heavy load or DDOS attacks. Both users and businesses suffer from this issue. disBalancer offers a real solution. Anyone who has a computer or smartphone can run the disBalancer peer client on the background of their devices.

Who are your competitors in the crypto industry and what’s your strategy to outperform them? There are not so many products trying to solve this problem.

Yes, there are no competitors in the crypto world. You can say Cloudflare, but I would like to note that it is a centralized platform.

disBalancer allows people to earn DDOS tokens while protecting businesses from malicious actors. It’s a win-win solution for users and businesses. When people choose the products like Cloudflare, then their security depends on a single company, and the failure of a particular employee can significantly affect their finances and reputation. In contrast, when choosing disBalancer, you join the interconnected ecosystem where responsibilities are divided between different parties that decreases the risk of service failures.

How important is the community for Disbalancer and what steps will you take to meet the interests of community members and investors?

To boost companies’ interest, we first need to develop the network of user nodes. Fortunately, the huge Hacken community helps us with this goal. When the capacity of the network of nodes is sufficient to ensure the full functioning of the system, then I believe that companies will quickly realize the value of the product. We’ve already partnered with several IDOs and we won’t stop, it’s only the start of our journey. Partnerships/cooperations with IDOs are a great promotion and testing ground for our service because on IDOs the majority of sites do not sustain loading.

Could you provide a brief about disBalancer token and it’s utility?

DDOS token is the utility token used for operations in the disBalancer ecosystem. The main role of DDOS is to enable the value transition within the ecosystem. People can earn DDOS tokens while protecting businesses from malicious actors. It’s a win-win situation both for users and businesses. You can find more on how disBalancer works at

Live questions:

What are the milestones and objectives you aim to achieve this year?

Mvp, beta version. We are also going to implement WAF (Web Application Firewall) and some other functions.

How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in the non-English speaking world? Do you have your local communities there so that businesses in these countries can better understand your solution?

We are working closely with the communities from different regions including the USA, Europe, and Asian and CIS countries. They inform the world about disBalancer.

Please visit disBalancer media channels to find more info about the project and its utility token.
